Ononiba Commissions Class Rooms Renovated By NGO In Abagana

The Mayor of Njikọka local government area, Hon. Chinedu Ononiba has commissioned classrooms renovated by a group of noble women residing in the United States of America (USA), known as “The Diamond Ladies”.

Barr. Ononiba while thanking the group for their selfless contribution to the society, emphasized the need for other well-to-do individuals to emulate this true act of philanthropy.

Angel Network News (ANN) gathered that
before the intervention of these industrious Ladies at Nnamdi Azikiwe secondary school Abagana, the building was in total decay.

Speaking after the commissioning of the project, the Chairlady of the group, who facilitated the project, Lolo Amara Akpuaka, thanked her group for investing such a huge amount of money on a project they’ve absolutely nothing to benefit from and ask God to replenish their pockets.

Akpuaka also thanked her Husband, High Chief Barth Akpuaka who consented for the project to be done in Abagana. She thanked her brother Chief Sir Peter Igboaka, for bringing to her notice the regrettable state of the structure. She swiftly acknowledged the efforts of the supervisors who made sure that the project was perfectly delivered.

Comr. Anthony Okafor on behalf of the school management said, “We have dilapidated structures but thank God that through the intervention of our Sister, we have recovered one”. He said that the structure will help in many ways, especially in the learning and safety of the students.
