The local government Chairman of Njikoka, Barr. Chinedu Ononiba has commissioned a brand-new Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Nimo Ward II.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Ononiba maintained that the facility, a flagship project of his administration, was built to strengthen grassroots healthcare delivery and ensure residents of Nimo and nearby communities have access to basic and emergency health services.
The Mayor revealed that the PHC is equipped to offer antenatal and postnatal care, immunization, outpatient services, and health education.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Anambra Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, while performing the official commissioning, praised Mayor Ononiba for prioritizing healthcare and aligning his local development agenda with that of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration.
Hon. Nnake noted that the initiative reflects APGA’s people-centered governance style, particularly in the health sector where reforms and infrastructure upgrades are key to improving overall wellbeing.
In there separate remarks, the lawmaker
representing Njikoka two Constituency, Hon. Jude Akpua, Member Representing Njikoka one, Hon. Chidiebere Ibemeka; Hon. Peter Ibida, former majority leader, Anambra State House of Assembly; and the APGA Chairman for Njikoka, Pharm. Chinedu Anaekwe, applauded the Mayor’s developmental strides and reiterated their support for projects that bring direct impact to the lives of the people.
Reacting, ndi Nimo expressed joy and gratitude, describing the health centre as a timely intervention. They pledged to support the APGA-led administration in the forthcoming elections, affirming that visible projects like the PHC are clear proof of responsive leadership.

The commissioning which attracted stakeholders from across Njikoka, ended with solidarity songs and renewed commitment toward Governor Soludo’s re-election bid.
