…Mayor Casmir Nwafor Commissions Projects
The local government Chairman of
Orumba North, Capt. Casmir Nwafor (Rtd), has officially launched the Orumba North Mass Transit Scheme and commissioned multiple signature projects within the LGA Secretariat, Ajalli.
In his address, Chairman of the Occasion, Chief Alphonsus Ikwueto, commended the Mayor for his visionary leadership and people-centered governance, noting that the projects clearly reflect an administration committed to grassroots development.
Ikwueto applauded Mayor Nwafor for translating campaign promises into tangible achievements that directly impact the lives of ndi Orumba North.
In his remarks, Anambra State Chairman of APGA, represented by his Deputy, Hon. Paul Uzor, performed the tape-cutting ceremony and commissioned the newly completed Chairman’s Office.
APGA Chairman, praised Mayor Nwafor for prioritizing infrastructure that will enhance productivity and service delivery, describing the projects as evidence of purposeful leadership under the APGA-led government.
Commissioning the Orumba North Mass Transit, Prof. (Mrs.) Rose Nwankwo expressed profound gratitude over the visible transformation of the LGA Secretariat. She thanked the Mayor for restoring dignity and pride to Ndi Orumba North, describing the mass transit initiative as a timely intervention that will ease transportation challenges and boost economic activities within the council.
Also speaking at the event, Dr. Ejike Osisioma, MD/CEO of the Anambra State Investment Protection and Promotion Agency (ANSIPPA), commissioned the ultra-modern, state-of-the-art entrance gate of the LGA Secretariat, applauding the Mayor’s commitment to creating an investor-friendly and welcoming environment.

the representative of Rt. Hon. Ben Nwankwo, Hon. Innocent Ike Ibe, commissioned the remodeled Councillors’ Legislative Building.
The facility, now equipped with modern communication infrastructure, was officially renamed after former Member of the House of Representatives for Orumba North and South Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Okey Udeh, in recognition of his contributions to the area.
The ceremony was climaxed with a unanimous endorsement of the Mayor for a second term, as attendees echoed the popular slogan “2 + 2 = 4,” affirming their confidence in his leadership and continuity agenda
The well-attended event attracted stakeholders from across Orumba North, APGA party faithful from all wards, community leaders, traditional rulers, political appointees, and residents who converged to celebrate the growing transformation of the council area.
