The Commissioner of Police CP Nnaghe Obono Itam has caution drivers/transporters to always do the necessary checks before plying the road, especially during this Ember month.
The CP made this call while reacting to the fatal motor accident that occurred on Wednesday morning along Onitsha- Enugu Old road by Oye agu junction Abagana, that resulted in the death of a five year old girl and four other persons seriously injured.

Anambra State Command, preliminary information reveals that the accident occurred due to the break failure of the Toyota Sienna vehicle carrying passengers and en route to Lagos rammed into traders selling by the roadside at Oye Agu junction.
Furthermore, the CP while condoling the family of the deceased directs arrest and interrogation of the driver.
To this end, the Vehicle has been recovered at the Station as the investigation is ongoing, please.
