Governor of Oyo State, H.E Seyi Makinde during the Splash/Lagelu Oyo Gubernatorial debate hasrevealed who his presidental candidate is.
Recall that the governor is among the aggrieved five governors of the People Democratic Party, PDP; Nyesom of Rivers State, Ifeanyi Ùgwùanyị of Enugu State, Samuel Ortom of Benue State and Okezie Ikpeazụ of Abia State known as the G5.
Mr Makinde.when asked who the PDP Senatorial Candidate should vote for, said “for the Senate and House of Rep. Vote for PDP. For President, vote for Unity, Inclusivity and Equity.”
He also advised the Oyo indigenes not to die for any politician.
“Some years back, I was the one standing on SDP podium, Teslim was standing on PDP podium. Now I am in PDP, and he is in APC. I am just saying, please, election will come and go, dont lose your life because of any politician (including me)”.
“I wish my brother Bayo Adelabu well in March 11 but I will prevail”, he added.
Gov Ortom (Benue) of the G-5 has endorsed Labour Party (LP) Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi.
