In a dramatic online fallout, Nigerian skitmaker Peller has accused former partner Jarvis of using TikTok to launder money, alleging that “gifts” from users were split 50/50 after being transferred through her account.
“When Jarvis came to Lagos, I thought she had more money than me, not knowing she was into money laundering,” Peller claimed. “People were gifting her on TikTok to launder money, then they split the earnings 50/50 afterwards.”
The allegations triggered an equally intense rebuttal from Jarvis, who said she feared for her life after what she described as near-physical aggression.
“Justice for Jarvis would have been trending if I hadn’t run for my life,” she said, adding that she had to warn her staff to stay alert.
