Ngige built quality roads in Alor his hometown and some other places that caught his fancy, including in Mbaukwu, the home of the Igwe that rescued him from kidnappers as a compensation. Beyond that, he did almost nothing else.
We all know this. The embattled Obi (denied and ousted and always in court) touched all sectors through ANIDS and gave roads to communities that never had hope.
He empowered local contractors and paid upfront. He owed no one. He cut the stupidly outrageous cost of governance and left humongous millions and billions of naira and dollars for his successor.
It has never been done! Talk of quality, the best bridge was built by Obi between Awgbu and Amaokpala (the Odo River Bridge) and his flyover/bridge at Nkpor New Parts can withstand the whole Russian Army Tank Column!
Both structures and others stand till date. Obiano’s three anthill monuments in Awka cannot withstand a tipper carrying sharp-sand without the danger of collapsing! You know Peter Obi is the better man; that is assuming you are not totally inebriated with the mind-corrupting froth of hate and bias that you have fed your mind with through a poisoned chalice.
