Singer, Peter Okoye aka Mr P, has advised Nigerians to read and digest former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s New Year Day letter.
The former president, in an open letter, expressed support for the Labour Party standard bearer, Peter Obi.
Obasanjo wrote: “None of the contestants is a saint.
“But when one compares their character, antecedent, their understanding, knowledge, discipline, and vitality that they can bring to bear and the great efforts required to stay focused on the job, particularly looking at where the country is today and with the experience on the job that I personally had, Peter Obi as a mentee has an edge.”
Reacting to the letter, Peter Okoye described it as mind-blowing.
He also praised Obasanjo, tagging him as a leader indeed.
“It’s mind-blowing. Really, there are leaders and there are LEADERS.”
