Peter Okoye, Shehu Sani condems stoning of Buhari in Kano

Singer Peter “Mr P” Okoye and Senator Shehu Sani have condemned the stoning of President Muhammadu Buhari’s convoy in Kano.

ANN gathered that angry Kano State residents and youths on Monday pelted the convoy of President Muhammadu Buhari with stones causing chaos and unrest in parts of the state.

One half of PSquare duo, Peter Okoye, took to his social media to condemn the act.

The Singer despite being  unhappy with the President and the ruling party, APC, believes that the Office of the President shouldn’t be humiliated.

“We all agree that President Buhari and the APC has performed badly but we do not subscribe to humiliating the president or office of the president. This is totally condemnable!”, he tweeted.

The former Senator also join in the condemnation. He said “No responsible person will support the stoning of the President.But it’s the kind of fanaticism and belligerence bred by the ruling party leaders over the years.The Children they taught how to hate have grown and graduated with distinction.” (sic)
