Plateau: Nigerian Govt Gifts Relief Materials to 32,000 Displaced Victims of Massacre

The Nigerian Government has donated relief materials for distribution to over 32,000 persons displaced by the recent attacks in Plateau State.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the items were presented by a representative of the Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on Friday in Jos.

Mr Eugene Nyelong, the NEMA North Central Zonal Coordinator, who represented the DG, explained that the donation was in fulfilment of President Bola Tinubu’s directive to cushion the impact of the attacks on the livelihoods of the affected victims.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, had during his recent visit to Plateau over the attacks said that the President has directed NEMA to provide relief materials to cushion the impact of the attacks.
