Plenary: Anambra State Peace Building And Conflict Management Agency 2023 Bill, Passes First Reading

The Deputy Majority Leader of the 8th Anambra State house of assembly Hon. Jude Ejikeme Akpua moved the motion at plenary on Thursday August 10th.

Hon. Akpua who is the member representing Njikoka two constituency while speaking to the house of assembly correspondents in an interview after plenary gave more details why he sponsored the bill.

“My main cardinal objective of going for this bill is because of the many frackers currently going on within the state. Families, youths, towns and communial problems everywhere.

“There are some issues that can be settled at the local government but today, you see people having issues and most of them have resulted to lost of lifes and properties.

“Therefore, it is very important that we go for this bill. Governor Chukwuma Soludobl has assent on this bill.

“Am calling on ndi-Anambra to support this bill. Because if it is approved by the grace of God, it will end the issues we are having in our constituencies.
