Police-led Security Force while on patrol within Aguata LGA on Sunday, got information of suspected armed men sighted in a black-coloured Pardo Jeep along Igbo Ukwu/ Ezinifite Uga axis.
According to a press release by SP Tochukwu Ikenga, Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Command, the Operatives on an offensive approach to the scene engaged the armed men in a gun battle and demobilize one of the miscreants while others escaped.

the security forces recover two AK 47 rifles, one pump action gun, two magazines loaded with live ammunition, fifteen live cartridges, one black Pardo Jeep with two different plate numbers, two Police body armored vests, three face caps, one black handbag and different types of criminal charms.
