The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has said those unsettled by the bid of its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to reclaim his mandate are behind the plot to silence him.
PDP called for a comprehensive investigation into the attempt by Boko Haram members to attack Atiku.
ANN had reported that four suspected Boko Haram members were arrested over plot to attack Atiku and some sensitive locations in Yola, Adamawa State.
Reacting, PDP’s spokesman, Debo Ologunagba, said the party is alarmed by the reported foiled terrorist attack on Atiku.
