President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Beijing, China, to begin his official visit in the Asian giant.

The President was received by notable Nigerian politicians, including Chairman of the Governors’ Forum, Governor Abdulrazaq, Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Kaduna, Uba Sani, Finance Minister Wale Edun, and the Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment, Doris Uzoka-Anite.

The visit, which was initiated by an invitation from Chinese leader President Xi Jinping, aims to strengthen economic ties and attract investments to Nigeria.

During his stay, President Tinubu is expected to engage in high-level talks with Chinese officials and business leaders, focusing on enhancing economic collaboration and exploring new opportunities for growth.

A key aspect of the President’s visit will be his visit to prominent Chinese firms, including Huawei Technologies and the China Railway and Construction Corporation. These meetings are aimed at accelerating the completion of the Ibadan-Abuja segment of the Lagos-Kano rail project.
