…Says it has been abolished
President General (PG) of Nimo Community in Njikoka local government of Anambra State Engr. Dan Zelunjo Anakpe has warn all those minning local sand in Nimo to stop or when caught will be arrested and brought to book.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Angel Network News (ANN) on Friday, the PG stated that local Sand Mining has been abolished henceforth.
In his words “From now on-words, anyone caught mining sand in Nimo will be arrested and be prosecuted.
“The demages caused by erosion in Nimo is becoming unbearable and there is no maintenance allocation coming from Federal or State government.
“Nimo Youths, Vigilante group and Councillors will be the monitoring team and anyone court will be brought to book.
