Nigerian actress Regina Daniels has spoken out in a viral Instagram post accusing the Nigerian police of bias and lamenting what she described as injustice against her brother, Samuel “Sammy West” Daniels, in his ongoing feud with her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The actress, in a visibly emotional message shared via her verified Instagram page, claimed her brother’s only “offense” was defending her from alleged abuse.
“What was my brother’s offense? Fighting for his baby sister because his in-law would always beat her up?” she wrote, expressing dismay at what she described as police complicity.
Regina, who appeared deeply distraught in her post, further accused authorities of favouring wealth and influence in the matter, stating,
“It’s obvious the highest bidder always wins. Now I’m crippled! I will return if that’s the only way—do whatever he says, get injected to be like a zombie, get locked up and raped in the house. Only then will my brother return.”
The post, which has since garnered thousands of reactions, also alleged that there was “no tangible case against Sammy West”, insisting that the legal process had been manipulated.
“Because by law, there is no tangible case against Sammy West! Ned Nwoko is bigger than the whole of Nigeria — that’s what this means,” she added, ending her post with the words, “We lost or rather I lost.”
As of the time of filing this report, neither Senator Ned Nwoko nor the Nigerian Police Force has issued an official response to the actress’s claims.
