Regina Daniels’ Mother Denies Daughter’s Reconciliation With Senator Ned After Visit

The mother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has rejected claims that her daughter has reconciled with her estranged husband, Delta North senator Ned Nwoko, after the actress was seen at his residence.

Rita Daniels said the visit was solely to allow the actress to see her children and did not signal a reunion.

“It is well, my dear. She was invited to see her children; that was what happened. Thanks a lot for your support and concern,” Rita Daniels said in an Instagram conversation with actor Uche Maduagwu, who later shared the exchange.

Speculation of a reconciliation and possible pregnancy arose over the weekend after a video of Regina Daniels at Nwoko’s home circulated online, months after the couple’s public separation and mutual accusations.

During the earlier dispute, Nwoko accused the actress of drug addiction and damaging his property. Regina Daniels countered that the senator had sought to control her, isolate her from family and create a false narrative, while also claiming their union was never legally formalised.

Regina Daniels’ sister, Destiny Daniels, earlier confirmed the visit was for the children and said the actress remained single. She attributed any change in Regina’s appearance to weight gain rather than pregnancy.

The couple held a traditional marriage in Aniocha Local Government Area of Delta State on May 26, 2019, and have two sons, Munir (born 2020) and Khalifa (born 2022).
