Some major stakeholders of All Progressive Grand Alliance Party, (APGA) and ardent supporter of Professor Charles Soludo, the Executive Govenor of Anambra State have called for urgent intervention in road rehabilitation in Nimo, Njikoka Local Government Area.
The APGA Faithful who spoke during the Nimo President General election at the Egwegwe field on 27th December told ANN that the people of Nimo are suffering from dilapidated road structures and are yet to benefit from the Soludo Road revamping project that is ongoing in different towns in Anambra.

Speaking to our correspondent, Engr. Oraka Nnaemeka, Onwa n’ Nimo said “we supported his campaign, pulled alot of resources and made him popular that he won the election. I was thinking he would replicate this kind gesture by bringing road rehabilitation to Nimo”.

Our roads are bad and we have not being able to benefit from the Soludo administration and so we are pleading with him to come to our aid 2024. Atleast rehabilitate major roads that cut across Nimo.
Some of these major roads includes that which leads to Abacha Town, another one from General hospitals down to Egbengwu, and then from Egbengwu to St Michael’s college. Another important road is that which leads from Ezi-alias to Okacha junction Nneni.
If these roads are rehabilitated, it will bring more access to project development as well as community development in Nimo and other neighbouring communities.
He maintained that election is around the corner and there is need to put these roads in order so that we can happily galvanise support and vote him for second tenure.
We appreciate the Governor for some of his developmental strides in education, youth empowerment, health and other areas too numerous to mention.

Another stakeholder and ardent lover of Soludo administration, Eze-Omile Chika, from Egbengwu Kingdom in Nimo however, lauded Prof Soludo’s intervention in the election of Youth leader in Nimo without which there would have been killings among the youths.
While wishing the Soludo administration a more robust development called on the Governor to attend to erosion devastation in some major parts of Njikoka Local Government.
He pleaded with Prof Soludo to extend the hand of road rehabilitation to Nimo as being replicated in other towns while seeking to all Nimo indigenes to enshew peace and vote credible candidate that will pilot the administrative affairs of Nimo for the next three years.
