Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu confirmed on Tuesday that he has met with the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPoB), Nnamdi Kanu, a couple of times at the Department of State Security (DSS) facility.
Kalu also expressed high hopes that the IPOB leader will soon regain his freedom.
Hon. Kalu, disclosed this in a statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Levinus Nwabughiogu.
He expressed excitement over the recent call by 50 members of the 10th House of Representatives led by Hon. Obi Aguocha seeking for the release of the detained IPoB leader.
