Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez have signed a pre-nuptial agreement keeping their assets separate after marrying in a private civil ceremony.
The couple wed on Tuesday in Cascais, near Lisbon, in an intimate event attended by their children and four witnesses.
Ronaldo’s mother and three siblings were absent. The ceremony was conducted by registrar Maria Manuel Ferreira de Campos Folhadela de Oliveira, who travelled from Porto.
They formalised the pre-nuptial agreement on August 10 at a public notary’s office in Lisbon to define their property regime.
Under the arrangement, the pair will keep pre-marriage assets separate. Both will retain their own surnames.
Portuguese newspaper Jornal de Noticias published a copy of the marriage certificate listing Ronaldo, 41, and Rodriguez, 32, along with details of their parents and birthplaces.
