The member representing Ihiala two constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly Awka, Hon. Golden Ilo says
Governor Chukwuma Soludo, has restored water tight security and absolute peace in the communities across Ihiala Local Government Area.
Hon. Iloh while speaking recently during a ceremony at Umuona community in Aguata Local Government Area said the insecurity issue in the State is not a media matter because, the Anambra State Government led by the Solution Governor is doing very well in the area of security and the people are happy.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that the lawmaker, who spoke extensively on the two phases of insecurity in the society to include real and psychological phases, argued that even if the insecurity in the area had been clearly tackled in the real phase aspect of it, that the psychological phase is yet to be addressed in the area.
Hon. Iloh debunked the rumour making round the streets in the State that the people of Ihiala Local Government Area were celebrating their Christmas, New Year, Easter, burial rites, marriage and new yam festivals outside their ancestorial homes, confirmed that he recently attended three or four functions at Okija and Azia communities of the Local Government Area.
He affirmed that the people of the Local Government were happy celebrating their functions without fear of molestation, recalling that about twenty years ago, the people from Anambra State were celebrating their birthdays in London and United States of America (USA) among other parts of the World , so for them to celebrate their birthday anywhere in the State is not an issue, but a matter of choice.
The legislator who glorified God that things are getting better in the Ihiala Local Government Area, assured the people that their brothers at Lilu and Amesi communities among others are living in their homes happily because of what Governor Soludo is doing in the area of security.
