…I will give a robust representation Umeh assures ndi-Anambra senatorial district
Labour Party (LP) candidate for Anambra central senatorial district Chief Victor Umeh yesterday 9th November 2022 Inaugurated his campaign council in Awka the state capital.

Sen. Umeh while addressing the campaign team urged them to put in there best and ensure that Labour Party emerges victorious from top to bottom.
In his words, “I am better now than before. We are going on these campaign on a level ground. Let us work with an open mind. The senate that am offering myself to contest again, is not out of desperation.
“We have a task to perform so as to able us have the opportunity to fight for the rights and future of our people.
I have served in different capacity and fought for the promotion of democracy and rule of law in Nigeria.
“I am an Igbo activist. I don’t sleep when it comes to anything that concerns my people.
If you are not equipped with the challenges facing your people, how can you represent them?
“I attracted 68 constituency projects in seventeen (17) months as a senator. Apart from three hundred (300) people I have trained in the university from 2007 through my foundation which is fifteen (15) years now.Â
I gave scholarships to seventy-eight (78) less preveledged persons in 2018 (every community in Anambra central has one person) and after I lost the election, I transferred them to my foundation.Â
Twenty-five (25) of them has graduated. Some came out with first class and at the end of these academic year forty-five (45) will graduate because I believe that every child is entitled to education. I was doing all these things without being in the Senate.Â

Anambra state Labour Party Chairman Hon. Ugochukwu Emmanuel while addressing party faithfuls thanked the campaign organization urging them to justify there selection. In an interview with reporters after the event, the party chairman described Umeh as the mouth piece of ndi-igbo. We where proud of him during his stay at the 8th assembly. He concluded

Dr. Vero Okechukwu while speaking with ANN said she is happy that today has marked another turning point in Umeh’s journey to the upper chambers. She express excitement that he decided to make up his mind and contest despite all odds. She called on all party members to join hands and send Umeh to the 10th senate where he will continue with his quality representation he gave at the 8th senate.
The high point of the event was the oath of office taking by all the campaign council members.
