‘She Made You a Senator’: Regina Daniels’ Brother Goes Nuclear on Ned Nwoko

The family drama surrounding Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, took a public turn on Monday after the actress’s brother, identified on Instagram as @sweezy1, launched a blistering tirade against the lawmaker in a series of Instagram Stories.

In the posts, the visibly angry Sweezy accused Nwoko of mistreating Regina and painted an unflattering picture of the senator’s personal life and political career. “You’ve lost all the respect at this point… She made you a senator. Used her to do door-to-door campaign. She was the sweetest, now na drug lord ba? You’re a narcissist,” he wrote in one of the messages.

The outburst did not stop there. In another post, Sweezy claimed the senator admitted to slapping his wife, saying, “A serving senator confirming that he slapped his wife. At your age you don’t know how to handle your marriage?”

He further accused Nwoko of having a history of domestic violence and urged him to seek help. “You need therapy and rehab,” he added.

Sweezy also mocked the lawmaker’s electoral history, alleging that Regina’s popularity helped him win. “If no be Gina you for win election? Contested three times and lost,” he said.

The posts escalated into personal jabs as Sweezy questioned Nwoko’s paternity and credibility, alleging he was “debarred from the UK” and can only travel to “Arab countries.” “Tell the world why you were debarred from the UK. You can’t listen to my advice, you can’t listen to my mom, you can’t listen to my father,” he added.

Neither Senator Nwoko nor Regina Daniels has publicly responded to the claims as of press time.

The viral posts have sparked widespread reactions across social media, with fans divided between defending Regina’s family and criticizing the public airing of private matters.

Senator Ned Nwoko, who represents Delta North in the National Assembly, is married to Regina Daniels, a Nollywood star and film producer. The couple, known for their high-profile lifestyle, have two children together.

As the controversy unfolds, observers say it underscores the growing trend of family disputes spilling into public view, fueled by social media platforms that amplify personal grievances into national talking points.
