Soludo Boosts Morale Of Agunechemba Operatives, Promises Improvement In Welfare

Governor Chukwuma Soludo said he is committed to reviewing the monthly salaries of Agunechemba operatives, recognizing their contributions to enhancing state security.

Prof. Soludo indicated that this effort aims to recognize the Agunechemba’s dedication to combating banditry that previously plagued the local community before the arrival of the specialized Pump Action team has yeiled positive results.

this announcement was made by Prince Ken Emeakayi during a meeting at his office in the Government House in Awka.

Emeakayi addressed members of the security outfit on the occasion of his recent reappointment as Special Adviser to Governor Soludo on Community Security. He urged the Agunechemba operatives to foster unity, loyalty, and commitment in their fight against crime in Anambra State.

Emeakayi underlined that the Anambra
State Government is exploring strategies to lift morale, emphasizing that increased efforts are crucial for achieving success among the Agunechemba operatives.

“On behalf of the Governor, i want to thank all of you for rising to represent our citizens. Your courage and dedication are appreciated, and we are grateful for the outstanding service you provide to the people of Anambra State. We pray for the Almighty’s continued guidance and protection over you. I convey greetings from the Governor, who is now in his second term.

“I want to inform you that our supportive Governor intends to raise your salaries to ensure everyone is fulfilled in their essential duties. All necessary resources for your work are being allocated. We encourage proactive engagement, and while we aim to enhance your welfare, we will also enforce strict disciplinary measures.

“It will not be business as usual; a Monitoring Team has been established to supervise the State and oversee operatives involved in extortion. This Team will not be associated with our organization but will be composed of members from the general public, including Keke operators, commercial drivers, and other community individuals.

“We will equip the Monitoring Team with advanced media technology to capture any wrongdoing in real-time, and we will not tolerate any involvement in extortion. The Governor and leadership of our organization enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy against extortion and any actions that breach the laws governing Agunechemba.” He concluded.
