Governor Chukwuma Soludo has expressed heartfelt condolences to his Chief of Staff, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, and his family following the death of his beloved mother, late Christians Ezeajughi at the age of 93.
Speaking during the burial mass held at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Awgbu, Governor Soludo reflected on the profound pain of losing a mother, emphasizing that “there is never the best time to lose a mother or loved one no matter the age.”
Addressing the family and mourners, he offered words of comfort, asking the family to be consoled as they are blessed that thier mum died at 93, further adding that the joy was that they were able to look after her while she sojourned on earth.
Earlier, the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Paulinus Ezeokafor admonished for everyone to be mindful and take care of their lives, but not at the expense of eternal life.
Mr. Ezeajughi appreciated everyone for being with them during their moment of grief, assuring that their matriarch’s legacies would be upheld and sustained.
The burial mass was attended by family members, friends, and well-wishers who gathered to pay their respects and celebrate the long life and legacy of Mrs. Ezeajughi.
