In his goodwill message, signed by Mr. Christian Aburime, Press Secretary to the Governor, Soludo described Archbishop Ibezim as a most distinguished, caring, spiritually vibrant, well-educated and widely travelled cleric and humanitarian who is worth celebrating for his life of impeccable service to God and humanity.
The Governor also recalled that Archbishop Ibezim, having been ordained an Anglican priest since 1994, has over the years served diligently in different dioceses, touching many lives and making numerous positive contributions to the advancement of the Church and society at large.
Accordingly, the revered cleric has been duly honoured within and outside the Church, such as receiving the Paul Harris Fellowship Award by the Rotary Club of Awka in 2013, the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Anambra State Government in 2017, and the Grand Commander Medal Award in 2022.
Thus, Governor Soludo joins the family of Archbishop Ibezim, the Anglican Communion in Awka and beyond, friends and other well-wishers in wishing him a happy birthday celebration and many more years of a fruitful and impactful life in God’s service.
