Governor Chukwuma Soludo has nominated Hon. Mrs. Esther Chinyere Onyekesi as Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development
Governor Soludo nominated Onyekesi with 17 others through a letter sent to the Anambra State House of Assembly, for confirmation.
Hon. Onyekesi, a respected political leader and seasoned mobilizer within the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), will appear before the Screening Committee of the House on Friday May 8, 2026 by 11:00am.
Her nomination has been described by many as well deserved and a role that aligns perfectly with her lifelong commitment to grassroots mobilization, women empowerment, and community development, where she has served diligently as the Anambra State Woman Leader.
