Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has called on the Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, to rebuild and reinvent the institution for greater service delivery.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Soludo while speaking with members of the council led by Senator Barnabas Gemade during their visit at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia, assured of his readiness for strategic partnership with them to rebuild the institution.
Governor Soludo lamented the state of the education system in the country, particularly tertiary education and told the new Council that it is an opportunity for them to do something unique.
Sen. Gemade who described Governor Soludo as the most famous Central Bank Governor revealed that members of the council extended the courtesy of informing him that they have began work in the institution.
Gemade noted that the Polytechnic is of high repute in the area of technology and training, promising to bring the institution closer and collaborate with his government to add more value.
