Anambra State First Lady, Mrs. Nonye Soludo has congratulated the Idemili South Female Team for winning the Healthy Living Female Volleyball Competition.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Mrs. Soludo while speaking at the event which took place at Dr Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, recently, expressed her gratitude to the Mayors who attended the event.
The Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo (HLWNS) founder, was impressed by the talent shown by the young athletes.
Mrs. Soludo highlighted that promoting exercise is a key goal of the HLWNS initiative, and also encouraged support for extracurricular activities like this volleyball competition, adding,
“The sheer number of talents I saw in these young girls are mind-blowing. The teamwork within them which they have bonded with is amazing.”
“And this is one of the reasons for Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo because exercise is one of our cardinal pillars. We are going to harness the raw talents in these girls.”
“I appreciate everyone who has come to cheer these girls up! Extracurricular activities such as this should be encouraged. Next year will be even bigger!”
