Solution Football Club of Anambra State
has emerged as 2024 champions of the 2024 Neros Pharmaceuticals Anambra FA Cup.
The Solution Boys for getting to the finals will represent Anambra State at the upcoming Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) 2024 Federations Cup.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
the Solution Boys who play in the second tier of Nigerian club football, the Nigeria National League (NNL) defeated Edel FC by a lone goal scored by Chuddy Joseph Onyeka in the 7th minute of the encounter through a trademark free kick in a match played at the Neros Sports Stadium Nanka, Anambra State.
The NNL side will smile home with the sum of N2million as the grand prize from the sponsor and CEO of Neros Pharmaceuticals Company, Prof. Poly Emenike.
Solution FC on their way to the final match defeated defending champions, Ozalla Football Academy of Obosi by a lone goal after obliterating Blacksmithers FC of Awka by four goals to one in the quarter finals.
Neros Pharmaceuticals Ltd have bankrolled the Anambra FA Cup for 16 years till now with the winner usually going home with N2million, while the second and third placed teams smiles home with the N1million and N500,000 respectively.
Earlier in the third and fourth placed playoffs, Peace FC of Awka defeated Ozalla FA by two goals to one.
