Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has reacted to remarks made by Bola Tinubu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who suggested that the government’s redesigning of some Naira notes and the shortage of fuel were attempts to sabotage the upcoming general elections.
Given that Tinubu occasionally speaks in tongues, Sowore claimed that Tinubu’s remarks were not shocking.
Sowore further asserted that President Muhammadu Buhari is actually lobbying for a different candidate and that Tinubu’s remarks show a rift in the ruling party’s top leadership.
Sowore asked Nigerians to think carefully about the consequences of this message and stated that Tinubu’s comments are an appeal for people not to vote for him and his party.
