Spain dominated the individual awards at the 2026 World Cup following their title triumph, with midfield anchor Rodri named the tournament’s best player.
Rodri received the Golden Ball for his outstanding performances that orchestrated Spain’s campaign. France captain Kylian Mbappe claimed the Golden Boot after finishing as top scorer with 10 goals, while goalkeeper Unai Simon earned the Golden Glove.
Teenage defender Pau Cubarsi was recognised as Best Young Player, and the Netherlands received the Fair Play Award. The awards highlighted Spain’s overall superiority, with four of the five major individual honours going to La Roja players.
The recognition caps a memorable tournament for Luis de la Fuente’s side, who lifted their second World Cup title with a disciplined and clinical display. Argentina finished as runners-up, while England took third place.
