Streamer Peller Says Davido Stream “Didn’t Count,” Hopes Meeting Wizkid Will “Change His Life”

Nigerian online streamer Peller—real name Habeeb Hamzat—has dismissed his recent livestream with Afrobeats star Davido, stating it was not legitimate “streaming” because it occurred on YouTube instead of his main platform, TikTok.

Peller, who recently purchased a multimillion-naira home, expressed that a future stream featuring Wizkid would be transformative. “If I meet Wizkid like this, I swear to Almighty God, I don big for life,” he declared during a broadcast. He emphasized TikTok as his primary streaming space and suggested that YouTube sessions don’t carry the same weight.

The remark quickly drew mixed reactions online. Critics accused him of being disrespectful to Davido, while others defended his clarification as merely highlighting platform preferences.
