Nigeria’s tallest man and actor, Afeez Agoro Oladimeji, is dead.
The 48 years old died at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) on Wednesday night after a prolonged sickness.
The news of his death was made known on Thursday, in a tweet by popular Twitter influencer, Pamilerin Adegoke.
Announcing Agoro’s death, Adegoke tweeted; “Nigerian tallest man Afeez Agoro Oladimeji is dead after suffering from prolonged sickness.”
Before his death, Oladimeji, whose height is 2.25 metres (7 ft 4 in), born in Sabo Yaba, Lagos State, had been bedridden for the past 8 months.
Oladimeji was a popular figure in Nigeria’s entertainment industry and gained a lot of attention for his extraordinary height. He also appeared on various reality TV shows, where he showcased his unique talent and personality.
His death has come as a shock to many, who have taken to social media to express their condolences and pay tribute to him. Oladimeji’s fans remember him as a gentle giant with a heart of gold, who had a positive impact on everyone he met.
