Human rights Lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana believes embattled DCP Abba Kyari will definitely be arrested by the United States Government to face trial whether he likes it or not.
Falana made his stand known while speaking on a twitter space conversation hosted by Rinu Oduala.
The human rights advocate maintained that, Nigerian government which uses force and gansterism in dealing with secessionist, wants to follow due process in Kyari’s case.
Falana also announced that, the Nigerian government will soon be dragged to court over those who have been kidnapped, while asking Nigerians to always defend their rights and stop having the ” God will judge mindset”.
According to him, they want to make the Nigerian government responsible and accountable for all those who have been kidnapped, and even their families who had paid ransome to have them freed.
It would be recalled that the Nigerian Police Commission suspended Kyari on Sunday, August 1, 2021, over a $1.1m internet fraud allegedly involving him, Hushpuppi and four others.
The Nigerian Police authorities subsequently stripped the celebrated police officer of his position as the Head of the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) and replaced him with DCP Tunji Disu.
