The Era Of Mental Health Crisis

Not everyone you see in the street is okay. It’s not about beauty, handsome, rich, or poor, someone could be physically okay but mentally sick.

Mental health is the foundation for emotions, thinking, communication, learning, resilience, hope, and self-esteem.

Mental health is also key to relationships, personal and emotional well-being, and contributing to community or society.

Mental illnesses are health conditions involving changes in emotion, thinking, or behavior (or a combination of these). Mental illnesses can be associated with distress, complex, and/or problems functioning in social, work, or family activities.

Mental illness is common thesedays. The vast majority of individuals with mental illness continue to function in their daily lives. It doesn’t stop people from functioning, but its impact is primarily centered on relationships with people.

Many people who have a mental illness do not want to talk about it. While the majority of the people don’t know they’re not okay. Mental illness is nothing to be ashamed of because it does not discriminate. It can affect anyone regardless of age, gender, geography, income, social status, race, ethnicity, religion/spirituality, sexual orientation, background or other aspect of cultural identity.

Check yourself if people always complain about your attitude. Check yourself if you always fall out with people. Check yourself if you’re no longer correctable. Check yourself if you’re the problem in the family, organization, or community you belong to and check yourself if you are always moody. These are signs of mental illness with or without knowing. Seek for help if you’re in this position.

That’s why to be patience with people because you can never tell what they go through. But keep in mind that mental illness is real and seriously affecting how people live and relate to others. A mental crisis is a threat to this present time. GOODLUCK!
