President Bola Tinubu has sworn in Taiwo Oyedele as Minister of State for Finance at a ceremony held Monday at the State House in the capital.
The inauguration follows Oyedele’s screening and confirmation by the Senate last Wednesday, where the former chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms outlined plans for a more robust and transparent fiscal system.
Oyedele replaces Doris Uzoka-Anite, who has been redeployed to the Ministry of Budget and National Planning, and is expected to help steer the administration’s broader economic agenda.
