* The President-General of Nibo Town Union, Prof. Tony Nwokoye has expressed gratitude to Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the ongoing construction work at ring road-Isiagu junction-Ukwu Orji road with a spur to Oye Nwochichi Nibo road.

Nwokoye who expressed his appreciation while inspecting the project said the road is one of the six roads the previous administration awarded in Nibo community but it was abandoned for years until the Soludo administration came into power and remembered the road. At Achalla Oji road Nibo, where workers were seen carrying out earth work, the President -General explained that sometimes last year, erosion threatened the road so much that it was almost cut in two and Nibo Town Union wrote to the state government which heeded their call and came to intervene by carrying out palliative work on the road.

* In a keenly contested but free and fair election, Master Fitness And Well-Being Club, Awka has extended the tenure of Dr. Emeka Ezenekwe after re-electing for another two years in office. The election was monitored and certificate of return presented by the National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa.

* An Anambra philanthropist based in United Kingdom, Mr Innocent Obiora, has distributed not fewer than 600 bags of rice to the indigent including widows and people living with disabilities in Enugwu-Agidi, Njikoka Local Government Area of the state. The beneficiaries were seen singing songs of joy and praise of the benefactor as the gesture came on time for the Easter celebrations. 

* Aguleri Community have unanimously commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s led administration for recording landslide achievements within his two years in office, adding that the community is solidly behind him. They made this known during Aguleri Community Assembly town hall meeting held at Aguleri Civic Centre, Anambra East Local Government Area. Speaking during the event that attracted Aguleri youths, stakeholders, Ndi Ichie and Ndi Ojiani Aguleri, the President General of Aguleri Community Assembly, Chief Ifeanyi Ilokasia who explained that the town hall meeting was to intimate his people about their relationship with the government and their neighbouring communities, eulogized Governor Soludo for being a trail blazer in Anambra state.

* Solution Football Club of Anambra State has emerged as 2024 champions of the 2024 Neros Pharmaceuticals Anambra FA Cup. The Solution Boys for getting to the finals will represent Anambra State at the upcoming Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) 2024 Federations Cup. The Solution Boys who play in the second tier of Nigerian club football, the Nigeria National League (NNL) defeated Edel FC by a lone goal scored by Chuddy Joseph Onyeka in the 7th minute of the encounter through a trademark free kick in a match played at the Neros Sports Stadium Nanka, Anambra State.

* The Transition Committee Chairman of Anambra East Local Government Area, Dr. Anselm Onuorah says that the council area is committed to clean, safe and healthy environment especially during this easter celebration. Dr. Onuorah made the promise when he met with members of the Anambra Road Transport Management Agency (ARTMA) and the Anambra East Enforcement Team (ANET) 

The meeting according to the mayor was to discuss preparations for the upcoming rainy season and easter celebration, and it equally focuses on the strategies to ensure a clean and safe Anambra East during the periods. 

* Anambra State Government has assured that the two-point-three kilometers Ochanja road project will be completed in record time. The State Commissioner for Works, Engineer Ifeanyi Okoma who gave the assurance while speaking with journalists, following the viral video showcasing washed-off portions of the road, stressed that the road is still under construction. The Works Commissioner, who expressed shock over the viral video, explained that the road was not yet inaugurated by the state government as earlier reported by the trending online reports.

* Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, MAN Anambra, Enugu and Ebonyi States branch has organized a stakeholders’ engagement meeting to interact with manufacturers on how to access funds to enhance their businesses and also solve issues common to business communities. The meeting with the theme “Access to Finance and Cheaper Funding for Small and Medium Enterprises in Nigeria” took place at MAN Laison Office in Onitsha. Speaking at the event, Governor Chukwuma Soludo said the state government has made funds available to support Small and Medium Scale Enterprises. The governor, who was represented by the Commissioner for Industry, Mr. Christian Udechukwu said the major aim of the meeting is for manufacturers to know where and how to access these funds.
