* The Anambra State Civil Service Commission has refuted claims of a recruitment exercise by the Commission currently circulating in some media platforms.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Tony Ezenwaka to the general public.
The Chairman stated emphatically that the State Civil Service Commission and the Anambra State Government are not carrying out any recruitment exercise for now.
According to him, the recently reconstituted Anambra State Civil Service Commission is neither aware of any recruitment arrangement nor involved in job advertisement currently circulating in the social Media credited to a faceless group.

Admin Youths Movement For Soludo 2025
Ezeokenwa while inaugurating the group at Fegge, Onitsha South Local Government Area, thanked the founder of the movement, Mr Promise Egbeji for coming up with such an idea, and tasked members to be focused and take the message of Professor Soludo’s good works in the state to the grassroots.
The Founder of the Movement, Mr Egbeji who is also the Chief Executive officer of Admin Oil and Gas Limited, disclosed that he established the movement to ensure a landslide victory of Governor Chukwuma Soludo come 2025 gubernatorial election, as the Governor has proven himself as a true leader with people’s interests at heart.

* Anambra State House of Assembly has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for awarding and re-constructing Nkwo to Nkwo road, Igwe Orizu road and ensuring the completion of Edo Ezemewi road in Nnewi.
The member representing Nnewi North Constituency Hon. Augustine Ike while moving the motion at plenary on Tuesday,
stated that in line with Governor Soludo’s vision of building a smart, prosperous and liveable homeland, he has awarded a total of 621.649km of roads out of which 316km have been asphalted as at November 2024.
According to Hon. Ike, Soludo at the 37th meeting of the Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) awarded among other roads the Nkwo – Nkwo and Igwe Orizu roads Nnewi, outside the ongoing dualization of roads from Agulu to Nnewi and Nnewi to Okija, including the near completion of Edo Ezemewi road (Bank road).

Mr. Fabian, a staff of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka was allegedly shot by unidentified gunmen on Monday night at
Aroma Junction, Awka.

* The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo says he will soon inaugurate a major security initiative tagged; “Operation Udo Ga Achị”.
Governor Soludo disclosed this during his appearance on a national television.
Prof. Soludo who emphasized that insecurity is not peculiar to Anambra State, explained that the initiative will be a major step towards managing security in the state.
The Governor added that now is the right time to implement state police, saying that despite the reservations held by the people, the idea can be improved upon, to help the people, highlighting the issue of ownership as critical, as local ownership of security will go a long way in solving the broad spectrum of security challenges facing the country.
* The Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra State (Ochabrigade) says it will begin demolition of all illegal structures cum shanties along Awka-Onitsha federal highway from January next year.
Disclosing this shortly after receiving an award for quality public service delivery from Ohaneze-Ndigbo World Wide in Awka recently, Managing Director of Ochabrigade Chief Celestine Anere said that the organization will stop at nothing this time to enforce environmental cleanliness in the state.
Anere said that defaulters have been given more than enough notice to remove whatsoever they have constituting public nuisances on the roads; that any form of degradation on the environment will no longer be tolerated henceforth.
