* Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has approved the appointment of the under-listed persons as members of the Board of Anambra State Housing Development Corporation:

Mr Emeka Sibeudu: Chairman

Dr. Obiora Walter C. Walter-Eze: Member Jonathan O. Okpalaezecha: Member

Chief Leon Mezue: Member 

Barrister Ikechukwu  Onyeabor: Member

Mr Emmanuel Okey Okafor, FCNA: Member 

* Anambra State Police Command has called on the public especially residents of Abia, Akwa-Ibom and Rivers States to help identify three children namely; David Frang (Male) Age 8 years, Sarah Frang (female) age 3 years and Chibuchi Sunday (male) age 7 years who were recovered from individual suspects who are already in custody for a possible reunion with their parents.

* To ensure the glorious livable and prosperous Anambra state as visioned by the state governor Prof Chukwuma Soludo led administration. The enforcement team of operation clean and healthy Anambra (ocha brigade) led by the managing director, Chief Celestine Anere stormed places in Onitsha region and its environs for the aspired illegal tax collectors taking charge in Anambra State.  These include; Oba Junction, Electricals, Onitsha Head Bridge, Upper Iweka, ngbuka obosi, Tarzan amongst others. 

* Security personnel have foiled armed attack in Anmabra and rescued electoral officials on an assignment at Ukpor high school, Nnewi South LGA. DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, PRO Anambra State Police Command announced in Awka. The INEC staff with some corps members, University undergraduates and some MDA officials on the training program of Adhoc staff for the forthcoming 2023 General Elections were disrupted by the armed men

* Customers still having the old five hundred and one thousand naira notes have been direct by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to deposit it at their various banks. This directive was made in Awka by one of the senior staff of CBN who address the huge crowd at the Anambra branch, stating that customers with below five hundred thousand naira should pay to various banks within two days.

* The APGA Flagbearer for Anambra North Senatorial Election, Dr. (Mrs) Ebelechukwu Obiano, who kicked-off her Ward tour at Ogbaru had hit Ogbunike with two stops within the breadth of the community. Hon. Onochie (Mayor Oyi), APGA Chairman, Oyi Local Government, speaking at the rally, disclosed that the purpose of the tour is to communicate Osodieme’s manifesto according to the peculiarities of the people of Anambra North.

* For always fighting for their interest, commercial motorcyclists in Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo have declared their total support for the House of Representative ambition of Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor. According to them, Okafor is part of the reason why Okada business is still operational in Nnewi North and its environs, promising that this is an opportunity for them to reward the young lawmaker who has been protecting their interest in government. 

* In a continuous effort of the Anambra State Police Command to ensure a peaceful and hitch-free 2023 election in the State. The Command on Friday played host to all the political parties/Stakeholders and initiated the signing of a peace accord for all political parties/Stakeholders in the state. The Peace agreement is in line with the Inspector General Police’s desire to bequeath a legacy of entrenched democratic values to the country. 

* The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for house of representatives, Idemili North and South Federal Constituency election in Anambra State, Hon Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu (Onyechimelu’eze), has commended the Governor Chukwuma Soludo for constructing massive roads in Anambra State, especially in Idemili North and South Federal Constituency. Ike Cubana made this known during the commissioning of the Ugwuagba Obosi road constructed by Anambra State Government led by Governor Soludo.

* The House of Representative candidate for Onitsha North & Onitsha South Federal Constituency and Member representing Onitsha North 2 State Constituency in Anambra State House of Assembly Awka, Hon Edward Obiefuna Ibuzo (Liver To Deliver) had thrown his support for Vote Not Fight Advocacy. Hon Ibuzo noted that election is a process of choosing the best amongst the Candidates, who leads the people.

* Anambra state Ministry of Youth Development has taken the sensitization exercise of “one Youth two skills” program to Ihiala LGA to create more awareness and participation in the area. Addressing youths at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Okija, the Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Patrick Agha Mba, stated that his ministry is working hard to achieve it’s mandate of engaging 130,000 youths annually and solving the problem of unemployment facing youths in the state.
