* Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo has given the assurance to restore the city of Nnewi back to its rightful glory. Governor Soludo made this statement during the Nnewi North APGA Campaign Rally held at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Ultra Modern Electrical/Electronics Market, Nnewi. Soludo who described Nnewi as the commercial hub in the South East and homeland of APGA leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, urged the people to vote for all APGA candidates in Nnewi division to restore the City’s pride of place.
* Major stakeholders from Nando community in Anambra East local government area of Anambra State compromising of Okwujinne Nnatuanya (Aladu Nando), Chief Ugbenugo Nando and Chief Nnamdi Nwawue (Ayaya Nando) have opted to support Hon. Chinedu Obidigwe for a second tenure to represent Anambra East and West Constituency in the House of Representatives. The stakeholders in their separate endorsements of Obidigwe for a return to the National Assembly said they will remain with Obidigwe and the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and together with their numerous supporters and other villagers, will work for his eventual victory at the polls on Saturday.
* The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD in company with her husband, Chief Larry Ekwunife, commissioned the State – of -the art Civic Center building in Nri, Anaocha LGA of Anambra State. Commissioning the facility, Ekwunife noted that her passion for development and impactful projects motivate her to attract projects for the people of the zone. She added that as a Senator from Nri Kingdom, she has made the community proud through her legislative impacts and maintained that every Nri indigene will be proud of her performance at the Senate because she has done so much for the people.
* The Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District and Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the forthcoming Senatorial Election. Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah stormed the Grand Season hotel Nnewichi in Nnewi North Local Government for a debate organised by the Nigerian Union of Journalists with the theme Anambra Political Dialogue, the Mace Debate. While responding to questions, Senator Ubah emphasised that his sojourn in politics is primarily to touch lives and provide adequate healthcare and other facilities for the people .
* The Commissioner of Police, CP Echeng Echeng has assured voters in Anambra of safety as the state will join other Nigerians to cast their votes for candidates of their choices in the Presidential and National Assembly elections on Saturday 25th February, 2023 as well as in the state House of Assembly elections on Saturday 11th March, 2023, in accordance with the electoral timetable released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Echeng in a briefing in Awka restated the readiness of the command and the need for these epoch-making events to take place in a peaceful and secured environment.
* It was a sporting event as Bishop Crowther Seminary, Awka held her annual Inter-House Sports competition. The exercise was to facilitate holistic mental and physical development through acquisition of different life skills, engender positive adult and peer relationship as well as focused on learning.
Echendu House which has Mr. Benjamin Echendu as patron took the overall first position, followed by Obi House which has Venerable Dr Kamto Obi as patron while Etiaba House with Mr Echezona Etiaba, SAN as patron took the overall third position.
* APGA Candidate for Anambra North Senatorial District Dr Mrs Ebelechukwu holds its campaign rally in Anambra West L.G.A.
Speaking at the campaign, Hon Tonycollins Nwabunwanne who described Mrs Obiano as one who is experienced, well-rooted and a voice for the voiceless, encouraged the good people of Anambra West L.G.A, to vote for her and other candidates of the party in the forthcoming general elections.

* The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders, COSEYL, the apex socio-political youth group in South East geopolitical zone has called on the good people of Anambra Central Senatorial zone to come our en masse and vote massively for Mr. Peter Obi the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Senator Victor Umeh, and all other candidates from the Labour Party, in the coming general election.
* Governor Soludo has officially presented Honourable Chris Azubogu with the flag of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, as the official flag bearer for Anambra South Senatorial Zone candidate of the party. The presentation took place at the Nnewi North mega rally ahead of the February twenty fifth and March eleventh general elections.
* The Deputy Governor of Anambra state, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim says Governor Chukwuma Soludo is passionate about the development and welfare of Anambra youths.
Dr. Ibezim disclosed this during Anambra Comrades Meet And Greet event convened by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, ATCDA, Mr. Ossy Onuko in Awka.
* CIS Edirin Endurance Okoto on Thursday took over as the new Anambra Comptroller of Immigration Service in the state. ANN reports that the handover ceremony which held today at the State Command Headquarters in Awka, Anambra state capital, was witnessed by both low and high-ranking staff of the Command.
