* The MD/CEO of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, Mr. Ossy Onuko says Governor Chukwuma Soludo is determined to develop all sectors of the state economy. Onuko disclosed this when Awka youths led by their Chairman, Mr. Tochukwu Nwokoye-Nwosu and the Chairman of Ezioka youths, Mr. Nwude Onuorah paid him a familiarization visit.

* Anambra State Police Command has debunked the trending video of alleged gunmen attack on motorists in Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area. A video went viral on social media in which a background voice was heard claiming that unknown gunmen invaded a part of Ozubulu community and opened fire on motorists. However, when contacted for his clarification, the Public Relations Officer of the Anambra State Police Command, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, debunked the video and its assertions as fake.

* The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim says the present government of Professor Chukwuma Soludo is committed to lifting ndi Anambra out of poverty, improving the economy in addition to ending various land disputes across the State. Ibezim stated this during a meeting with members of Anambra State Boundary Committee at the Government House Awka.

* The Youth Leader of Anambra State Association of Town Unions (ASATU) Comrad Ken Okoli says the wing have taking one role from the five key agenda of the administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo which is ‘governance and value system. The Youth leader who spoke to ANN in his office on Tuesday revealed that ASATU will ask the house of assembly to legislate on value system and that the association will sponsor a bill on state orientation.

* The Transition Committee Chairman for Oyi Local Government Area, Mr Emmanuel Nweke has called on all hands to be on deck to reinvent those social values that sanitised the society during the olden days. Nweke stated this in his office at the council headquarters, Nteje.

* Ndị Igbo have been advised to evacuate and bury all the corpses in all the mortuaries in different parts of Igbo land, in order to be free from the various problems and challenges bedeviling the land. The Managing Director, Rojenny Stadium and Tourist Center, Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area Area of Anambra State, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka gave the advice on recently in a statement in which he revealed that the ghosts of the unburied dead bodies that litter the various mortuaries in Igbo land are angry and on rampage against the land and the people.

* Wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Mrs Nonye Soludo, has explained that most foundational problems facing today’s society arose from the inability of most parents to instill the right behavioural and moral values in their children. Mrs Soludo, who was speaking in Awka, noted that the first and cardinal responsibility of a parent is to guide the child to be a moral mirror that represents a functional home and society.

* An Anambra student, Okoro Benjamin Nzutechukwu, has joined the league of great minds who have made Nigeria proud abroad. He made a first class in pharmacy at Voronezh University, Russia. ANN gathered that Benjamin, made 8-As and 1-B in his WAEC in 2017 at the Federal Government College, Nise, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

* It was a Celebration of successes for the Staff and management of Anambra State College of Health Technology, Obosi, as the College recorded One hundred percent in the Junior National Board Examinations for Community Health, as well as the best results in 2022 Community Health on same National Board Examinations in the whole of thirty -six States of the Federation and Federal Capital Territory Abuja. The Provost of the College, Mr Daniel Ezeobi announced the success story during the Send-forth of graduating Students of Community Health of the College at the school auditorium.

* The Anambra State Head of Service, Barr. Theodora Igwegbe has commended the State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo for his commitment in promoting the welfare of civil servants in the state and making life more meaningful for them. Igwegbe gave the commendation while inspecting a moribund 50,000-liter water facility newly renovated and converted to solar by the State Government at the Civil Servants’ Quarters, Iyiagu Estate, Awka.

* The President General of Amawbia Town Union, Engineer Godwin Aronu has described the Agricultural blueprint of Governor Chukwuma Soludo as second to none. Speaking on the Agricultural programmes and policies of the Soludo administration in Anambra State, Aronu said that the ongoing distribution of Palm and Coconut seedlings by the government is part of efforts aimed at reinventing the Agricultural revolution of the former Michael Okpara administration in old Eastern region from which the proceeds were used to put up many Infrastructures in the old Eastern region including the famous University of Nigeria Nsukka.
