# The chairman of Idemili-South council area, Dr. Mrs. Amaka Obi, has assured Governor Chukwuma Soludo and his Deputy Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim that there is no cause for alarm because the entire area will vote for APGA.

The Mayor who spoke extensively when the governor’s campaign train stormed the council headquarters in Ojoto, declared that there is no controversy whatsoever in the reelection of Soludo because the entire Idemili-South have resolved to give him 100% votes

Obi said that the November 8th 2025 governorship election is a time for the people of Idemili-South to pay the governor back; appreciate him as well as reciprocate his monumental transformations across the state.

# All roads led to All Saints Cathedral Onitsha as the faithful and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, converged on the Cathedral field its mega rally for November 8 2025 gubernatorial election in Anambra State.

The mega rally saw President Bola Tinubu represented by the Senate President, Senate Godswill Akpabio, National Chairman of the party, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, South East Governors from the party in attendance.

Asking the crowd at the rally to support the candidate of the party, Prince Nicolas Ukachukwu and his running mate, Senator Uche Ekwunife, President Tinubu said the “only son” of the APC in Anambra is Prince Ukachukwu in the election.

The President said Ndi Igbo have played from the periphery since the end of the war in 1970 and therefore its time for Ndi Igbo to enter the center of Nigerian government by voting the APC in Saturday’s guber.

# Anambra Commissioner for Health, Dr. Afam Obidike, has said that Governor Chukwuma Soludo has revolutionized the state’s health sector.

Dr. Obidike, who stated this during a media tour of the health facilities built by the Governor, explained that the purpose of the tour was to periodically brief ndị Anambra on Governor Soludo’s achievements in the health sector.

The Commissioner revealed that the Governor has built five new general hospitals in areas that previously had none within the Anambra North Senatorial Zone.

According to him, the Okpoko, Anaku and Enugwu-Otu Aguleri General Hospitals have been completed and commissioned, while the Fegge, Onitsha General Hospital has been completed but not yet commissioned, adding that work at the Oroma-Etiti Anam General Hospital has reached about seventy percent completion.

# As the gubernatorial election scheduled for November 8 2025 approaches, Governor Chukwuma Soludo has called on the people of Anambra to actively combat voter apathy and fully participate in the democratic process.

During a campaign rally organized by the Nnewi North Local Government Area at Nkwọ Triangle, Nnewi, Soludo emphasized the crucial role every citizen plays in shaping the future of the state through their votes.

The Governor urged Ndị Anambra to recognize the power of their electoral voice, stressing that voter apathy must be conquered by ensuring that every eligible voter participates in this critical election.

The Governor highlighted his administration’s achievements and plans for continued development in key sectors across the state, particularly in Nnewi North, including infrastructure, healthcare, and security.

# The local government Chairman of Anaocha area, Hon. Rome Ibekwe has donated over ten thousand (10,000) school bags to students and pupils in the council area.

The bags contain exercise books, mathematical sets, pencils and pens.

Addressing the pupils and students, Chief. Ibekwe said education as the bedrock and key to every success, and should not be neglected which was why Governor Chukwuma Soludo introduced free education in the state to give every child opportunity to soar higher in life no matter their background and stated their willingness to support the Governor at the grassroots level.

The Mayor further challenged the students to continue to work hard, be of good character, and avoid behaviors that will mar their future.

The donations were given out to all the students in Anaocha council area starting with a flag-off at Migrants Farmers Primary School, Neni, Flora Azikiwe Secondary School, Neni and Community Secondary School Adazi Nnukwu

# The Anambra State Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has Honoured the wife of the Anambra state governor, Dr. Nonye Soludo with Grand Patron of the state NAWOJ.

The award was in recognition of her commitment in championing healthy living for all and advocacy for cultural preservation among others initiatives she champions in the state.

Chairperson of the Association Comrade Tochukwu Ifejika on behalf of the association made the presentation and decorated the first lady with her insignia of office describing her as a compassionate leader whose interventions have continued to promote healthy lifestyles and community wellbeing across the state.

Ifejika also hoped the award will help solidify the relationship between the first lady and the association assuring more support of the women journalists for the state government and it’s activities especially for the first lady’s initiatives.

In her response, Mrs. Soludo thanked NAWOJ for the award assuring more collaboration with the association.

Mrs. Soludo highlighted importance of healthy living to NAWOJ charging them to prioritize their health with natural foods in their diets, having enough rest, hydration and exercise for their well-being.

# The Anambra State Government wishes to inform the general public that neither the governor nor the government has authorised any campaign or initiative that requires citizens to visit external links or provide personal information in exchange for funds.

Anambra State, the purported campaign claiming to offer ₦25,000 campaign funds from Prof. Soludo is therefore fake and should be totally disregarded.

“We urge ndị Anambra and the general public to be vigilant and not engage with suspicious links or provide sensitive information, especially those trying to cash out of Governor Soludo’s great profile.

# Anambra State Housing Commissioner, Hon. Pauly Onyeka has expressed satisfaction with the ongoing construction at Boy’s Secondary School , Uga in Aguata LGA.

Hon. Onyeka while speaking during an
inspection tour, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Engr. Obi Okonkwo and other key management staff in the Ministry, expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work at the school.

The Housing Commissioner confirmed that the roofing materials used in the roofing met the required 0.55 gauge of specification, which is a critical benchmark for structural safety and durability at any public building.

Onyeka applauded the contractors compliance to the guild lines and urged them to make amendments on the areas dictated, while sustaining the pace and standard of work already established.

# Anambra Youths have been urged to shun drug abuse, cultism, alcoholism and other anti-social vices

Comrade Chika Andrew Nwosu made the call during the launching of his book titled “Exposing the dangers of drugs abuse, cultism, alcoholism and other anti-social vices.

Comrade Nwosu an accomplished author
while speaking at the event held at Chisco Institute of logistics and supply chain management, in Nnamdi Azikiwe University campus, Awka, maintained that the book will releave many from the kindgom of darkness.

# A former Mayor of Njikoka LGA, Chief Cosmos Ogugua Agagbo has called on all opposition political parties in Njikoka to collapse their structures and rally behind APGA.

Speaking at the campaign rally, Agagbo emphasized that Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has demonstrated exceptional capacity and leadership as governor, earning widespread respect across the state.

Agagbo added that, as it stands, virtually everyone in Njikoka has endorsed Governor Soludo’s second-term bid, recognizing his achievements and transformative governance. He urged ndi Njikoka and Anambra to unite under APGA to ensure the continued progress and development initiated by the Solution government.
