# Prof. Chukwuma Soludo’s second-term bid continues to gather momentum as former Aviation Minister, Chief Osita Chidoka, led a vibrant endorsement walk in Obosi in support of the Governor’s re-election.

The energetic procession, which kicked off from Little Wood, Obosi, moved through Akora, Ukwu Udala, and Eke Obosi, before climaxing at Sir Chidoka’s compound, drew a massive crowd of enthusiastic youths, men, and women, all united in their call for Governor Soludo to continue his transformational leadership in Anambra State.

Speaking during the event, Chief Chidoka said the walk aimed to mobilize community members in support of Governor Soludo’s re-election and to promote a peaceful electoral process, He urged residents to come out en masse and vote in the upcoming gubernatorial election, to boost turnout to meet the national average, and ensure that Soludo returns to complete his good work in the state.

# Achina Football Club emerged champions of Oluatuegwu Football Tournament, a competition sponsored by the lawmaker representing Aguata one Constituency at the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Anayo Okpalaeke

Speaking after the game, played at the Umuchu Mini Stadium, Hon. Okpalaeke, said the event was part of his effort to empower the youths of Aguata One Constituency with a view of fostering unity, promoting sportsmanship and to rally support for Governor Chukwuma
Soludo’s re-election bid come November 8th 2025.

In his address, the Chairman of Aguata Local Government Area, Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike, urged youths to remain hardworking, focused, united, and to channel their energy into positive ventures and continue supporting the APGA administration.

The Captain of Achina FC, Mr. Francis Okpala expressed joy over the victory, thanking the sponsor for giving the youths a platform to showcase their talents.

The winners, Achina FC, received a cash prize of five hundred thousand naira, for lifting the trophy, while Uga FC, the first runner-up, took home three hundred thousand naira and Akpo FC the third-place team received two hundred thousand naira as other participating communities were each given one hundred thousand naira as consolation prizes.

# Anambra State NSCDC Commandant, Maku Olatunde, has charged officers and men to adhere strictly to rules of engagement during the November 8 gubernatorial election.

Commandant Maku gave this charge during a muster parade held at the State Command Headquarters, in preparation for the election.

The State Commandant informed personnel that the objective of the Corps and other security agencies is to provide an enabling environment and a level playing field for all players. He emphasized that adequate security coverage would be provided in synergy with other sister agencies before, during, and after the election.

He warned personnel against allowing personal interests to influence their actions, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the Code of Conduct and Electoral Act for
a free, fair, inclusive, and credible election.

# Ahead of the November 8th 2025 governorship election, the Speaker of Anambra Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze
says Ogbaru Constituency are ready to make positive history.

The Speaker stated that Prof. Chukwuma Soludo will not only record twenty one over twenty one victory in all the local government areas in this Saturday’s governorship election, but will make history by winning in all the three hundred and twenty six electoral wards in the State.

In a Press statement in his country home Atani, Ogbaru LGA, Udeze noted that in view of the numerous achievements Governor Soludo’s administration has made in all sectors of the State economy especially his signature projects and development policies such as building of a world class Government House and Lodge, solid road infrastructure, free education, improved health care system, security architecture, youth empowerment among others, Anambra electorate will surely reciprocate the gesture by voting him en-masse.

Udeze revealed that in appreciation of the unprecedented good governance the APGA government under Governor Soludo has offered Ndi Anambra in less than a tenure, APGA Anthem is being sung in all over four thousand, nine hundred polling units in the State by APGA faithful and non APGA members who have resolved to throw their weights behind Governor Soludo to ensure that he is reelected.

# The Permanent Secretary Ministry Of Environment Mr.Tochukwu Obodogha has added another feather to his cap by earning the prestigious Century Media International Special Recognition Award.

The honour is in recognition of his commitment to effective and proactive leadership in the Ministry of Environment geared towards enhancing a clean environment.

Receiving the award in Awka, Mr. Obodogha promised to increase his productivity and urged Civil and Public servants in the state to justify their monthly salaries in their various duty posts by giving their professional best.

The Permanent Secretary used the forum to appeal to workers in the state to troop out en masse this week Saturday to exercise their franchise through the ballot box and ensure that their votes counted in their various polling units.

# The traditional ruler of Omasi Community, Igwe Dr. Benjamin Okeji has urged the new Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman Prof. Joash Amupitan to use the Anambra State election as a test case to prove his mettle in other forth coming elections in Nigeria.

Igwe Okeji who is the Deputy Chairman Anambra State Traditional rulers Council and Chairman Anambra North Traditional rulers Council expressed confidence that INEC will assert its true independence under its National Chairman Amupitan (SAN).

The Monarch gave the indication in a press statement in Awka. Okeji urged Amupitan to rewrite history through his appointment by wiping some negative insinuations about the commission in some controversial verdicts okayed by the Commission in some previous elections in Nigeria.

The Bishop represented by Ven. Samuel Ezewudo, Subdean, charged the students Nurses and Midwives to show the light in your academics, morals and reflect the light of God in your environment and the world at large. Many have gone through this college and have become a beacon of light.

# ‘Bridge Head One’ has won this year’s Bridge Head Premiere Cup after defeating ‘Bridge Head Two’ through a penalty shoot-out after a tough battle with the opponent in both first and second half of the game which ended zero-zero.

The football tournament, was organized by the Founder of Admin Foundation Family and Chief Executive Officer of Admin Oil and Gas, Promise Egbeji, at Ugborimili Primary School Field, Housing, Fegge Onitsha; in support of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s re-election come November 8.

Egbeji, who is also the CEO of Admin Housing and Properties, explained that the tournament was part of his efforts in sensitizing and mobilizing Onitsha South residents for Governor Soludo, and a way to groom young talents in football and other sporting activities, even as he encouraged people in the area to vote for Governor Soludo during the Saturday election.
