* Anambra Commissioner For Agriculture, Dr Forster Ihejiofor says the state government will introduce a special agro integrated aquaculture and agroproduction system that will enable farmers scale produce to meet up with both local and international markets demand. Ihejiofor made this known while briefing newsmen on this year’s World Food Day commemoration in Awka.
* Wife of the Governor of Anambra State Mrs Nonye Soludo has presented 120 anti-shock garments to General hospitals and mission-owned health facilities. The Governor’s wife who presented the materials to representatives of the benefiting health facilities at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia, said that even though Anambra State has done so well in cutting down maternal and infant mortality figures compared with other states in Nigeria, the device is needed to cut down the number to zero.
