# In a show of unwavering support and enthusiasm, Governor Chukwuma Soludo was warmly welcomed during his campaign tour in Anambra East.
The event was marked by a large turnout of supporters, community leaders and stakeholders who gathered at the Otuocha Township Stadium to listen to the Governor’s vision for the state and to express their backing for his administration.
Governor Soludo, who is seeking re-election, emphasized his commitment to continue tackling pressing challenges facing the state, including infrastructural development, security, job creation, among others.
Soludo reiterated his administration’s achievements over the past three and half years, highlighting significant progress in education, healthcare, agricultural development, among others, stating that the people of Anambra East have always shown immense dedication to progress, assuring that together, the foundation for a prosperous Anambra has been laid.

Nnaji while speaking on the theme “From Honour to Hustle? Reclaiming the Noble Identity of the Legal Profession” captures the painful truth that many within and outside the legal community now perceive law practice as more of a hustle than a calling of honour.
# A high-powered delegation from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Headquarters visited Anambra State as part of preparations for the November 8, 2025 Governorship Election.
The four-member team, led by Prof. Rhoda Gumus, National Commissioner in charge of Election Planning and Monitoring, included Mr. Sam Olumekun (IVEC Chairman), Dr. Kenneth Ukeagu (supervising Anambra State), and Dr. Baba Bila (Chairman, Electoral Operations and Logistics Committee).
Upon arrival, the delegation was received by the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Dr. Queen Elizabeth Agwu, and other officials at the INEC State Headquarters, Awka, where they reviewed logistics and preparedness.
The team conducted field visits to Dunukofia (Anambra Central) and Oyi (Anambra North) LGAs, inspecting non-sensitive material batching and PVC collection at Registration Areas in Ukpo and Nteje. They expressed satisfaction with the progress and urged voters to remain patient and orderly throughout the exercise.

Nnaemezie said the Governor accompanied by his deputy, Dr. Onyekachi Ibezim, and other All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) dignitaries, will visit Ogbaru Constituencies 1 and 2 on Friday, October 24, 2025, as part of his re-election campaign.
According to the APGA stalwart, Soludo will first stop at Ogbaru Constituency 2 before proceeding to Okpoko, which falls under Constituency 1.
Describing the visit as a “homecoming,” Nnaemezie reaffirmed his commitment and that of his group to mobilize massive support for Soludo.
# The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reaffirmed its readiness to conduct a peaceful, transparent, and credible governorship election in Anambra State on November 8, 2025, stating that the collection of Permanent Voter Cards from the recently conducted CVR exercise are ready for collection.
INEC’s National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee (IVEC), Mr. Sam Olumekun, while speaking at a forum for media executives, reporters, producers, and on-air personalities in Awka on Tuesday, said the level of readiness is both practical and measurable.
Olumekun represented by Wilfred Ifogha, Deputy Director of Information and Publicity, while speaking at the event, organized under the theme of partnership and shared purpose, said it was aimed at strengthening democracy through credible information and responsible communication.
# Anambra Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Chiamaka Nnake has praised the remarkable achievements of Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s administration, citing visible improvements in Abagana Ward III.
Nnake highlighted the renovation and equipping of the primary health centre, youth empowerment through the 1Youth2Skills program, free antenatal and postnatal care, as well as free education in government-owned primary and secondary schools in Abagana.
While addressing the people during the Njikoka Campaign Council’s visit to the ward, the Commissioner appealed to ndi Abagana Ward III to vote massively for Prof. Soludo and his deputy, Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim in the upcoming November 8 governorship election.
She emphasized that supporting APGA is the surest way to ensure the continuation of impactful, people-centered governance.

The Mayor advised women and youths to ensure they were meaningfully engaged with several Skills acquisition programs at their disposal because idleness breeds gossip, quarrels in homes, and sometimes infidelity.
Mrs. Obi further encouraged the women on Political Participation and to vote massively for the continuity of Governor Chukwuma Soludo because of the many dividends of democracy he has made possible in Anambra State.
