* Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) in Anambra State has donated foodstuffs and other materials worth over Seven hundred thousand Naira, (N700,000) to two Care Giving Centers in the State. The executive of POWA, Anambra State Chapter led by its Chairperson, Mrs Bolanle Adeoye visited Divine Mercy Orphanage Home, Amawbia and Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled, Old, and Tramps (RECDOT) in Ozubulu and made the presentations. The Chairperson called on public-spirited individuals to do more for the less privileged in our society.
* Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah has commission a lubrication factory established by Chief Executive Officer of KM Oil and Gas, Chief Kenneth Maduafor in Ogbaru, Anambra state. Ubah emphasized the significance of collaboration and partnership between the government, private sector, and other stakeholders in order to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
* Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, CFR has eulogized the life of late Senator Annie Okonkwo as purposeful and impactful. Soludo gave the description during a funeral mass celebrated in honour of the late Senator at St Paul Catholic Church, Ojoto, Idemili South Council Area. The Governor stated that as a great soul, Ojoto, Anambra, Nigeria and the world has lost something tangible and commiserated with his wife, children and the Okonkwo family.
* The Police in Ogidi in Idemili North Local Government Area in Anambra State have busted a four man burglary gang that targets commercial shops across the State. Acting on a tip-off received on Wednesday 30th August, 2023, the Police stormed the hideout of the gang and cordoned it off to prevent escape of any of the gang members. Four suspects, all of them from Ebonyi State were arrested while the following items were recovered from them are; two ladies motorcycles, two big generators, one wheelbarrow, one deep freezer, three bags of rice and two large iron cutters.
* The Senator representing Anambra South Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has visited the Torwaleen Water Bottling Facility located at Obiofia Nnewichi, Nnewi. During the tour, Senator Ubah commended the management and staff of the facility for their dedication and commitment to providing quality products to the community. He also expressed his satisfaction with the level of compliance with health and safety standards observed at the facility.
* The Beach Soccer Association Board of Anambra state has been inaugurated. The board is led by Prof Victor Madubuko with RT. Hon. Chukwudi Orizu as the the vice Chairman. Other members of the board are, Hon Ezeakukwu Emmanuel Nsoedo as the secretary general, Kingsley Nwagba who doubles as Coach /Techincal director, Okwudili A Emmanuel as Media Officer , Prisca Ogugua as Welfare Officer and Chukwuka Fidelis as Asistant coach.

* The Anambra State Commissioner of Police CP Aderemi Olufemi Adeoye has described the Control Systems of the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) in Nnewi as a commendable initiative that will enhance security in the state. The Commissioner made this remark during his visit to the CCTV & Communication Control Room, which was facilitated by Senator Ifeanyi Ubah
* The Management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka Anambra State has denied the social media reports that some female students of the institution staged a protest over allegedly sexual harassment by lecturers. In a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the Vice Chancellor of the institution Prof Charles Esimone on Public Relations and Special Duties, Dr Emmanuel Ojukwu on Friday, the students of the university never protested over any sexual harassment.
* Faculty of Social Sciences, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, University Igbariam, has held its eighth international Conference with a call for the adoption of social transformation and sustainable development for the progress of the Nigerian-Nation. The conference with the theme,” Social Transformation, Sustainability and Democratic Process in Nigeria,” was declared opened by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Greg Nwakoby represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Professor Mathias Ananti and attended by students, staff and management of the institution, academia and political appointees.
* The Archbishop, Metropolitan and Primate of All Nigeria Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba has dedicated the Christ Church, Vicarage and a hall initiated and built by the family of Sir and Lady Emeka Okwuosa at Irefi-Oraifite in Ekwusigo Local Government Area. The benefactor, Sir Okwuosa who went down memory lane on how the idea of building the church started, said the turning of the sod was performed by the pioneer Bishop of Nnewi Diocese.
