# A former House of Rep Member, Hon. Chinedu Obidigwe calls out Willie Obiano for neglecting Ezi Agulu-Otu, Enugwu-Otu, and Mkpunando during his administration as governor for 8years.

According to Obidigwe in an interview, many governments before Soludo’s government have neglected some crucial areas in Anambra.

He opined that the areas that have been forgotten in Anambra state, ranging from 1999 till date have been remembered by Soludo administration, he cited Okpoko and some other communities in Anambra west.

# The twenty-one wards chairmen at Idemili North Mayor’s residence in Abatete pledged to carry out without hesitation every directive given to them by the leadership of guber Campaign Council Committee, stating that they are ready to do whatever it will take to see APGA emerged victorious come November 8th 2025.

Addressing the Chairmen, the former Mayor of Idemili North and Chairman of Idemili North Guber Campaign Council Committee, Chief Sir Obi Idemobi enjoined them to be dutiful, pragmatic, sincere, committed, and transparent in their dealings, assuring them that they would be properly taken care of, even as he reminded them that they would be handsome rewards for the wards that performed creditably well at the poll.

Also speaking, the Mayor of Idemili North and the Co Chairman of the Campaign Council, Chief Stanley Nkwoka, stated that Council would do all within its powers to ensure a landslide victory for the party, saying that no one should entertain any fear whatsoever, encouraging the Chairmen to move down to their wards and polling units with the support of Campaign Council Committee at the ward level and replicate all what that has been done at the Local Government level.

# Dunukofia LGA under the leadership of the Mayor, Hon. Chijioke Ozumba in partnership with the Ozocha Foundation, has officially and successfully flagged off the construction of the 0.55km Ebearo Road and Ali Bridge Phase II in Nawgu community, Dunukofia Local Government Area, Anambra State.

The project is in line with Governor Soludo’s Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiative, targeted towards collaborative development and the vision of a liveable and prosperous homeland.

Funding for the project is evenly split: 50% financed by the Local Government Council and 50% financed by Pharm. Cosmas Ike Okeke, Founder of Ozocha Foundation and an illustrious son of Nawgu community.

Importantly, the entire project sum has been 100% paid upfront, ensuring uninterrupted execution.

# It was a day of colour, thanksgiving and celebration in Abagana, Njikoka LGA, as Regent of the community, Dr. Nwachukwu Anakwenze, led indigenes and guests in marking the 2025 New Yam Festival at his Umudunu country home.

Dr. Anakwenze, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Global Care Medical Group, described the festival as a living testament to Igbo people’s pride and cultural identity, and stressed that the annual celebration goes beyond feasting, but reaffirms unity, heritage and thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest.

Beyond culture, the Regent highlighted his commitment to the growth of Abagana community, citing ongoing interventions such as hospital rehabilitation, building of computer hubs, and youth empowerment initiatives.

# Governor Chukwuma Soludo has commissioned the Enugu-Otu Aguleri General Hospital and a primary school in Anambra East Local Government Area, built by the community and donated to the state government.

The Governor’s first port of call was to inspect the ongoing road construction in the community, after which he was received at the square, where he reiterated that his commitment remains to “one state, one people, one agenda”.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Soludo while speaking at the event, stressed that education and healthcare are at the fulcrum of his efforts, assuring of providing teachers and adequate facilities.

The Governor pointed out that when he came, the place seemed abandoned and forgotten, and promised that being a part of the state, his government will not leave them behind.

In there separate remarks, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe, Commissioner for Power and Water Resources, Engr. Julius Chukwuemeka and the Mayor of Anambra East Local Government Area, Sir Ifeanyi Chinweze, stated that before now, it was impossible for a vehicle to visit the place by this time of the year.

They appreciated the Governor for connecting Aguleri mainland and Aguleri Island with the construction of the road, and praised him for being the first Governor to visit the community twice, assuring him of continued support.

# The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon.Somtochukwu Udeze has doled out another ten Million Naira education grant to Ogbaru students in tertiary institutions

Udeze also gave out 2.5 Million Naira to secondary category to facilitate their tuition fees and other education requirements needed for their sound academic and moral training.

Speaking during the event entitled ” Ogbaru Youth Parliament; The Future Is Now, Not Tomorrow”, Rt. Hon. Udeze noted that the programme was the third edition of the Ogbaru Youth Parliament and second phase of his 10 Million Naira education grant, urging the beneficiaries to be determined to make a mark in their fields of study and endeavours.

He appealed to them to support Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s reelection in view of his giant strides in all sectors of the State economy especially in education.

# The Mayor of Dunukofia, Hon. Chijioke Ozumba has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering projects with direct impact on the lives of the people.

Ozumba while speaking during the
flag-off the construction of the 0.55km Ebearo Road and Ali Bridge Phase II in Nawgu community, emphasized that the Ebearo Road and Ali Bridge would not only improve movement within the community but also foster unity, commerce, and social development.

The local government boss further noted that, since the project sum has been fully paid, construction is expected to be completed within a few months.

# The Chairman Ànambra State House of Assembly Committee on Health, Hon. Tony Muobike says contrary to invectives from opposition elements that Anambra Primary Healthcare Centres are monuments of deaths.

The lawmaker said such were unfounded claims and blatant lies because Governor Chukwuma Soludo has modernised all the health facilities in the state for optimum services especially with the introduction of telemedicine in the healthcare system.

Muobike explained that telemedicine is an innovation that makes it possible for people especially those in the hinterlands to always have unhindered access to medical doctors even in the most precarious situations.

The lawmaker stated that as the Chairman of the state assembly health committee, he can confidently say that health facilities have greatly improved in Anambra State under the Soludo administration judging from the health committee’s oversight functions in the last two years.
