The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze has described Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s election as the Vice- Chairman of Southern Governors’ Forum as meritorious, thoughtful and expected in view of his accomplishments in governance and experience in public administration.
In a congratulatory message on behalf of the State Legislature, made available by the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Mr. Emma Madu, Rt.Hon.Udeze noted that Governor Soludo’s introduction of positive novelties in governance especially on development, sustainable economic growth and government of inclusiveness are some of the considerations that earned him the position.
The Speaker revealed that Governor Soludo has since his election as Governor of Anambra State for over two years now, continued to spice the Nigeria Governors’ Forum with his sound economic experience which inspired the Southern Governors to elect him as the Vice- Chairman of the Southern Governors’ Forum in order to continue to tap from his economic prowess to drive the economy of the Region effectively.
He expressed the hope that Governor Soludo will continue to do Ndi Anambra proud by contributing immensely to the growth of the Forum and urged his counterparts to give him the necessary support.
Rt. Hon. Udeze while thanking the Southern Governors’ Forum for recognizing merit and hard work by electing Governor Soludo as the Vice-Chairman of the Forum, assured them that given the Governor’s economic background and pedigree,he will render quality service to the Forum.
