Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State is currently sitting on 12th position in the latest ranking of Nigerian Universities
Following the latest ranking for universities released by http://webometrics.info , Nnamdi Azikiwe University has continued to move up the ranking ladder.
Recall that part of Prof. Charles Esimone’s plan for the University is to make it the first 200 universities in the world by the time he leaves office dubbed #Project200.
So far, UNIZIK has gone on to witness steady positives in its ranking owing to the determined efforts of this administration, and the output of the staff that have continued to maintain excellence in the discharge of their duties.
In January 2021 Unizik ranked 33 in Nigeria, 110 in Africa and 4773 in the World.
In January 2022 ranking it ranked 18 in Nigeria and 3464 in the World.
Then in June 2022 which is the latest ranking, Unizik sits 12th in Nigeria, 53 in Africa and 2988 in the World.
